I was surprised that MMDS was referred to as "wireless cable", especially since I have such a negative view of cable. I disagree in one sense that MMDS is not a "threat" to mobile wireless. My understanding is that HDR can do stationary internet, too, mostly using cdma carrier's existing equipment. Thus, there is competition in that arena; HDR can also do mobile.
