I've now placed you on "ignore", where you belong.

I participated extensively in a long running and passionate debate over adding "ignore" capability to SI. The biggest single worry that the anti-ignore crowd had was that the feature would be used as a weapon, much as you have done against Anthony.

Without making any judgement what-so-ever about whether ignoring him is a good idea, I would like to ask you, and everyone else who reads this, to use the ignore feature in a private way. That it, "ignore" anyone you choose, but keep the fact that you have them on ignore to yourself. It still gets you everything you want from it, and you don't risk alienating the SI Management team into withdrawing the feature, which I can assure you they added reluctantly.

Respectfully,

John Biddle
