<<< "Consider what they've done------", I am afraid to say it.Well,ok,I will say it,after asking forgiveness in advance, that is from 36 to 8- ->>>

Okay, I deserved that. I was referring to the partnerships and products they've delivered so far --- all in just a little over a year. It wasn't Amati who took the price to 36 and they didn't take it to 8 --- it was the market. From July of '96 on, every piece of news has been shrugged off. Yes, a small bounce on a couple, but then the slow decline. It'll change when the sentiment changes towards 1) the entire market 2) the techs 3) the networkers and 4) the DSLs. Seeing how well Westell is holding up against the trend --- based, I think, on an impending contract --- I'm hoping Amati will do the same when its news hits the street.

Regards,

Pat
