Very interesting story David, I am truly amused.

I've tried night diving only once.
Others were catching big fish with the spear gun.
The ocean at night was so scary, I swear to myself never to do it again.

Exactly where about are you diving? right off the Redondo Beach pier?
Where is the canyon? how far from the pier?
