Before I went to a more minimalist approach to charting, I had 20 and 60 and 100 EMAs, BBs, and sometimes an MACD and Stochs, all up at the same time on the chart. Add to this several trendlines including some depicting important spikes and H/Ls. But I do find QCharts to be unreliable at times. I would not use it for real-time intraday trading without a backup.

Now I trade with just the chart, and the three EMAs. Sometimes I put up a MACD or Stochs depending on the market and the type of trading I am doing. And sometimes I have found myself trading without any indicator at all on the chart. I did not realize this until later in the day to my surprise. But I did still use trendlines.
