Webvolutionary.

From the PR team that brought you Inprise and the Infonet.

Even though I did not think that the company changing its name from Borland was a good idea, I have felt that the people on this thread who have revelled in calling the company "Borprise" only made themselves sound more juvenile and lost their credibility.

This new term Webvolutionary; however, sounds like some huckster selling used cars to a stupid audience. Is this type of marketing going to be effective to the people that Inprise is trying to convince to buy their products and services?

I had expected that the company was being groomed for sale when Dale came on board (given his compensation package, as published). It now appears that they are going to try making a go of it and remain independent. I was willing to hang in there another 6 months or so if they make progress to that goal. If catch phrases like Webvolutionary are how they think they will accomplish that then I'm more depressed than ever.
