Does anyone think there will be a gorilla in this particular segment(caching).

You're new to the GG and you're already asking one of the most astute questions most of us forget to ask. Too often we forget that not all tornados in gorilla games spawn a gorilla.

You don't know me but everyone else around here who does knows that I don't know much about technology per se. So take it with a grain of salt when I mention that most firms that are building caching technologies appear to be building other technologies along with it, search engines being an example. As a result, it's very possible that we might not see a gorilla of caching that isn't also a gorilla of something else. Or maybe we'll see a gorilla of something else in which caching plays a big role.

In a nutshell, my answer to your question is that it's probably far too early to know.

To go beyond your question, you might not be far enough into the manual to realize that caching is an enabling technology and that the authors recommend not buying stocks in enabling technologies until the product adoption has enterred a tornado. I don't have the slightest idea if caching has enterred a tornado though I bet there are a bunch of saavy folks around here who do.
