Having something relevant to say is one thing. How one says it is something else. Unfortunately, many high-powered individuals/bosses/ managers/executives can't seem to understand, much less appreciate, youthful exuberance, especially when combined with a lack of political sophistocation that can come only with time.

I know what you are saying. I've been there too.
