This is the only thing I could find on the company. I was told that they make money what do you know about them?

Montt owns and operates granite quarries in the Northeast of Brazil in the state of Ceara. It is the local operating entity within Brazil and is wholly owned by Montt International. It is the direct owner of all mineral rights relating to the portfolio of 40 quarry properties assembled over the past 23 years by Fransisco Mendes Aragao, now chairman of Montt.

Of the 40 quarries Montt Granitos owns, eight are actively producing granite blocks. The eight producing quarries are served by rail lines that run to deepwater ports on the Northeast coast of Brazil within easy sailing of all the world's major markets for these materials. The Brazilian government has just funded construction of one of the largest deepwater ports in the world, which is expected to become operational by the end of 1999.

Montt will have a depot for its granite blocks in a strategic location within the port area. Montt has begun a complete overhaul of its business to aggressively pursue the worldwide market for dimension stone. Montt has more orders than it can fill. The current backlog stands at approximately $150 million. Added capacity will fill up as quickly as it can be brought on line.
