I really wanted a Dell, with Corel Suite as *the* preloaded app, and I didn't want to pay extra for it. I wanted it *instead* of the MS Suite. The reason I wanted Dell, quite simply is because they offered systems with the video card that I wanted. I wanted Corel more, so I went with Quantex. I feel that MS/Dell consortium shut me out of a reasonable request.

I don't see why MS has to use such hard-ass tactics. Why can't they offer a simple volume discount to OEMs? Answer is because they want to have *the entire market* i.e. they want to have the whole enchilada, and screw the consumer choice. And if they can drive Corel into bankruptcy, then all the better.
