If you want that choice then go to the place that offers it. Period. If enough other people wanted that choice, which they obviously don't, then other dealers would offer it. Vote With Your Dollars.< I really wanted a Dell, with Corel Suite as the preloaded app, and I didn't want to pay extra for it. I wanted it instead of the MS Suite. The reason I wanted Dell, quite simply is because they offered systems with the video card that I wanted. I wanted Corel more, so I went with Quantex. I feel that MS/Dell consortium shut me out of a reasonable request. I don't see why MS has to use such hard-ass tactics. Why can't they offer a simple volume discount to OEMs? Answer is because they want to have the entire market i.e. they want to have the whole enchilada, and screw the consumer choice. And if they can drive Corel into bankruptcy, then all the better.
