But if someone's response to your point is simply to call you names, would that do anything to change your mind, or improve your understanding of the issues??
Thanks for the post... I'll have to read it more thoroughly later. But as a defense for Microsoft, the statement that: Quote:

For a defender of Microsoft, that sounds quite a bit like what the opponents were charging..
And in departure, could we have an agreement that we will make our points against issues rather than against the messenger?... I shouldn't have to "cry" to get agreement on that minimally civil request, should I? Did you read the earlier posts in which my request that Microsoft be required to adhere to the law was termed an avocacy for "A Final Solution"? Seems a bit overly offensive to me, even for this thread.
