"All the major OEMs were required to pay for copies of the OS, whether or not they were installed. That cost was passed on to the consumer. " This may be the case, but I have not seen anybody prove that the alternative OEM OS installation, if there is alternative, actually saves money. I am more interested in how MSFT stock price would move next. Is it time to pull the plug and find the next winner?
