I think I've answered this already but here goes again,
Sun, IBM, HWP, and Apple make their own hardware.

And Microsoft makes their own operating system. In my opinion you've said nothing in any of your posts that a reasonable person would consider as supporting "since the hardware is PD the OS should be PD." If all you have is more of the same then don't bother.
