change my alias to Irving Fisher DK, abby joe, may have made the quintessential Irving Fisher speech this week, she alluded to the thirties and the mistakes made by raising tariffs which caused the great depression, which we have not done in the 90's. Of course in the new era, they phool even the experts by changing the names, competing currency devaluations is the new era version of tariffs, and you wonder why the treasury is saying we still have a strong $ policy, while the $ is in retreat and reversing from the cratered yen and euro. What was that i said about trend changes across decades -g- Chucklereyser kicked out the last bear this week and nobody remarked to that post - amazing! and next month we give up our domain of the ship transport thru the panama canal. Don't get to cocky America, the British Empire was similarly cocky going into this century. and those crapwads at Dow should have include msft and intc a long time ago, this seems like panic buying at the top. bb
