Kevin- One small point I'd like to add is that a lot of the money fleeing MSFT
will be fueling non-Windows
solutions. This was not case in the old Monopoly days
so a lot of the post monopoly pricing models go out
the Window (sic) when it becomes fashionable to use
thing like Star Office for free rather than Microsoft
Office for $500. I'm sure there are a lot of other
goodies in store for the computer user. I can think
of a few myself if anyone would like to flee in my
direction.

In any case, the Window's "network effect" has made a
huge amount of people wealthy. Now working in reverse
it'll be a different bunch.

Don't like to pile on but this is an unusual turn of
events. The judge, as they say, has told us what is
plain as day.
