Try to pick price direction first, puts or calls, before you do the exotic options stuff. And remember, the option writers do not like to have to pay out, or have their stock "called" away from them, or have it "put" to them, so the volatility really increases the week of expire.

I like to play out of the money options, because the returns can be huge.
