I'd rather see the site down than experience slow fills/responses. I just had an order fill, partially, six minutes after having canceled it. Ah, wonderful! The remainder of the order just filled, 10 minutes after having canceled it.
Well, good, I wanted to lighten up there, and I have.

I have mixed emotions about the recent problems. It's nothing like the old days, when problems were routine (see earlier in the thread) for an extended period. Next, the problems of late have been in the face of pronounced efforts to improve things for the trader.... after hours ECN, and now a move to introduce flowing quotes and news.
HOWEVER!!..... I haven't seen a slow fill, while the site was up and functioning, for months and months. That I don't want to see. |
