MC @ MXTR has said repeatedly that they WILL NOT participate in the aggr pricing to GAIN share, but they will do "whatever it takes" to maintain share at their OEMs. We've been talking about the channel here, who knows what is happening at the OEMs right now... Remember when they saw the dist channel opp in the MarQ99 and they jumped in w\ lots of product, but then cut back in the JunQ when the terms weren't as nice? It seems to me like they take the same approach in the channel as they do at the OEMs. Either they are ripe to make lots of cash this Q or they have changed their philosophy. I seriously doubt that it is the latter. Heck, maybe what I am seeing is an anomaly... todd
