Seagate's purchases may be responsible for the recent performance of their stock. siliconinvestor.com I think a repurchase is exactly what the doctor ordered and that this is a much better strategy than buying MXTR, WDC, HDD or anyone else in the industry. I think this authorization puts an end to all talk that SEG will consolidate this industry via buyouts. Let the price war continue!
