Michael--There was a Value-Line guy on CNBC this morning who loves tech stocks, even though he agrees that most of America is "locking down" on new purchases. His reasoning: The rest of the world is going to have to catch up with the US and that will give rise to new opportunities for US tech companies. It is a point, although possibly a small one. To what extent do you think that new foreign demand can offset the hypothesized nuclear winter at home? Also, ordered Hickey's publication. Thanks to you and Fleck for pointing it out.
