I hope you are right about MSFT not being a big part of the picture. I like my Palm operating system. I push the button, it turns on. I push again, it turns off. None of this booting nonsense. On, off. Working flawlessly, or not working. Very simple. Cars used to be very touchy in the first few decades. Now you turn them on, and they go. You turn them off, they stop. How long will it be until computers work as well as cars?
