*AV*--we played it a few times and made some money on the wild swings but for the most part it started to turn into a dud. There is potential for the company but the company changed hands. Some of the original players were ousted or left the company and were replaced. the company fell under the wing of a Canadian Mining Company set of management, so I am told.
The product makes sense and was timely at that time. The ex-employees are putting together a similar product I think, as well as other services are starting to pop up. In other words, competition is starting to come in from all directions, which no longer makes this a timely situation.
More and more, brokerages are trying to bring up an "online portal" to snatch back some of the lost revenues from the online brokers. This attempt to regain these investment dollars were the impetus behind EBNK and their private label portal.
My personal opinion is that it was not a positive sign when some of the original employees left the company and when new management came in.
I am not paying close attention to EBNK anymore and any position held is with profits already made off the stock. This stock is now part of a "flyers" group that consists of stocks like NPRO, ESFT, and TNSU.
If they fly, the profit potential will be nice. IF they do not, well, it was with prior profits already made in those equities since the original investment funds have already been extracted. There is no real focus on these stocks other than passive interest, much like the note today challenging readers to a comparision between ESFT and what COBT provides.
There is gold in other hills that we are paying extremely close attention to these days.
