Well ... I'm not. This is the way the "game" is played ... I've been involved in several deals where this has happened ...

Maybe not ... but can you imagine that they hold the patent on "Cursor Addressing"? Yes ... they own a patent which describes the movement of the little cursor on your PC screen ... and countless other basic patents in computer technology. (I think the cursor one is now expired ... ;-)

As long as what you state is true and accurate. But if IBM is at all worried that you have secured patents in an area they would like to move into, they then do a thorough analysis of your products and services and look for patents that they have that could be used for "cross-licensing" purposes ...
