I guess this webvolutionary thing is the major marketing initiative management has been talking about. It seems they are taking the webvolution to the WSJ and Businessweek. One can only hope that the Inprise marketing gurus (TIC) have done their homework on this one. If not, Inprise will not only be famous for being formally known as Borland, but also for it's cheeky attempt at woowing high-level management with snappy (or not so snappy) buzzwords. How long do you think it will take for "webvolution" to be incorporated into Websters Dictionary?

The ad campaign is slated to continue in The Wall Street Journal,
BusinessWeek, and other business publications through the end of the year,
Schweighofer-Jones told Developer News. The campaign will also extend to
trade shows and events. "We're even having an airplane tow a
'Webvolutionaries' banner across the sky over the stadium at an upcoming
San Francisco 49ers game," Schweighofer-Jones said. "We're going to get
this message out in traditional and untraditional ways."

The ads -- described as "edgy in tonality, very in-your-face" -- will refer execs
and developers to webvolutionaries.com, the front porch of a revamped
borland.com site that will highlight the victories, challenges, technologies, and
tools of the webvolution.
