Mark; Since you started this thread I will direct this to you or hope someone can answer it.

Can you or anyone else explain to me what the PII or Klamath looks like? If it plugs into the slot 1 card, and from what I understand, is encapuslated somehow, what does this look like.
As an old TV repairman, I remember when the TV manufacturers started using plugin modules, they dipped them in plastic that hardened making them unrepairable. Of course customers complained that they were paying for modules with good parts on them that were being thrown away. Someone stepped in and made the manufacturers stop dipping them. I may be totally wrong but I thought I read somewhere on SI that the Klamath was encapsulated but can't find it again. I can't see how heat would be dissipated on a module of that kind.
Is there a link that has a picture of the Klamath that you know of? If so, paste it in your reply so I can take a look.
As a CYRIX investor, I think patience will perservere.
