Tha stock piles in the US are around 38,000 tons or the equivilent of one years current consumption. However it is believed by most industry people that here is significant low grade and some of the stcok pile is polluted. The Chinese have started implementing their rationalization of the mining industry. Several mines have been closed and as they recently announced further moves are expected.
