Calico is the biggest dog in the space, and ppro is sort of an also-ran. These other ones like vert and agil, epny are all leaders of a little niche. The problem with epny is that it is highly, highly customized software for data mining. Its not an "e" at all. In fact their name used to be epiphany and one day, magically, the "." showed up to indicate they are an ecommerce company. But they are ok, I know a good guy who works there.
