My Observations:
1) No Intel PIII - "E" or "B" or "EB" system advertisements!
2) AMD K6-x proliferation is at 71%. It used to be less than
50% a year ago.
3) AMD k6-x + Athlon proliferation is at 82%. The reason for
this is that AMD K7 penetrated the outlets that specialize
in the highend systems geared towards small businesses -
with SCSI stuff, tape backups, network HW, etc. Prices
$3000 and up.
4) Steady increase of Athlon total advertisements.
5) Pretty good jump in K7-700 offerings indicating a good
supply.
6) Seems that mobo supply is not a big problem any more.
7) Noticed many advertisements of dual PIII systems. AMD
needs DUAL Athlon systems ASAP to fill this gap.

Goutama
