Mark, I respectfully disagree. I think the reason CTXS is up sharply today is a direct result of Jackson's findings. In the past CTXS has been held hostage by MSFT when it came time for the two to renegotiate license agreements.

I think that Jackson's ruling is a huge positive for programming stocks and other computer-related companies -- both hardware and software.

Many on various SI threads seem to believe that MSFT is being penalized for its success. I don't think this is the case. I think that the evidence is clear that MSFT used its muscle to stifle competition in order to maintain its control of the market. The notes concerning the "negotiations" with Netscape were a clear indication of MSFT's malevolent intentions.

I, for one, applaud Jackson's findings, and oddly enough believe that they will benefit MSFT shareholders should MSFT be broken up, because it will unleash tremendous value.
