Notice how Nebraska, Tenn., Florida have all battled back in the rankings, and it was not by beating top tier teams!!

Tennessee lost the 2nd game, and have played Georgia and Alabama, no slouches. Memphis, Auburn, Notre Dame...SC. The loss being early in the season was a help, and it was to a top 5 team.

Florida got beat by Alabama. Top 15 team.

Of course, some don't consider SEC teams "top tier". Go figure.

Upset over a game is understandable, but downgrading other teams will not make it any less upsetting. IMHO

Had PSU stayed at #1, and 3 other teams stayed undefeated...the BCS poll would be genius for picking the "obviously superlative team". Right?
