Brian, "The O/S should be public domain because it drives the hardware". Nice opinion; unfortunately, that isn't the way it works. Oh?? If an O/S doesn't drive the hardware, Brian, what exactly does drive the hardware??? Are you saying that programming languages drive computer hardware???? Come again??? cheers, cherylw
