Don't forget these commercials aren't free, and they'll be expensed in Q4. A $30M+ (only a WAG - any better guesses on what this will cost?) ad campaign will take ~15 cents off the bottom line. AMD could play accounting games, I suppose, and claim it as a one-time charge, since it is unusual for them to advertise this heavily.
