fascinating, Janice. Let's start with Dorian Reed's biography:

Dorian Reed is the Company's Chairman of the Board and Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Reed is the creator of the Hitsgalore.com concept. He has been in sales, marketing and consulting of technology services for more than 20 years. He has extensive knowledge of internet technologies and is skilled in HTML, CGI, Java, Shockwave, Cold Fusion, Audio/Video mad other internet technologies.

As a holder of copyrights and patents in the field of electronics and communications, he has created products and traveled the world producing and selling them. In the course of these activities, he has worked with GM, Ford, Chrysler, Bendix and many other Fortune 500 companies.

This obviously fails to mention that he is currently appealing a civil conviction for fraud, with the FTC. Not to mention the stint in the federal jail for wirefraud.

My attention was attracted to the claim of patents, since that requires somebody's approval (in contrast to a copyright). I did find one (singular, not plural) patent when I did a search at

It is a fish detector, filed in 1982 and granted in 1984, with an address in Michigan, where I think he was a teenager when one of those two social security numbers was issued:

Abstract: A fish detecting system including a radio transmitter in a float attached to a fishing line and a receiver at a point remote from the line. The float includes a power source and a normally open switch between the power source and transmitter. A switch actuator is magnetically held in a switch open position and moved by fish activity to magnetically move the switch to a closed position energizing the transmitter to send a signal to the receiver.
