Well, as a long-time Omega skeptic, I finally feel that they're doing the right thing here. TradeStation 4 was a great product, and their ProSuite was nothing short of a disaster - an overly expensive, slow product. HOWEVER... This tradestation.com move is a great strategy. I would gladly use the product online without bringing my computer to its knees and let Omega worry about the performance issues and bugs as well. If I could program and backtest my systems online, and get alerts in real-time, then that would be great. I hope they can do it at a reasonable price with reasonable performance.
