Haim,

You bring up a very good point. Its like the market saying to the justice department that nothing can hurt MSFT. That is worrisome. It may be better that MSFT had sold off. Giving such a message, is like sticking your tougne at your parents after doing something naughty and say - you cant do anything to me. ggggggggggg

But really, instead of breaking up MSFT, they made the operating SYSTEM open to competition - geez, MSFT could drop to 20. gggggggggg

Just thinking about that solution. If the DOJ feels strong enough that MSFT owes the consumer - WOW, its a possibility but I still feel that such would be extreme. It would be smart for GATEs to at least give the appearance that he wants to resolve the matter rather than be stubborn. I also think he better stop saying that his company did nothing illegal.

You are right it does become quite worrisome. Until I heard that on CNBC, especially in light of todays rebound, I also thought that DOJ could not do anything to hurt MSFT, but now Im not that sure anymore.
