Porter, are the traders in TXF planning to move to Montreal to give that market more liquidity? Have you noticed that the market for Toronto 35 futures is actually tighter than the market for S&P/TSE 60s (on far less volume.) Bid/Ask spreads on the old TXF used to be about 20 - 30 points. Currently spreads on TXF average at 40 points and spreads on SXF average at 70 points. Also, spreads on the SXF are crazy, one minute they will be 20 points, the next minute they will be 100 points. Once I saw the spread at 130 points which is 30 points greater than the max allowed. Hopefully, they will put this contract on Globex and I can get a terminal in Toronto.

Also, it looks like we can kiss goodbye the index options market in this country. That's a very sad state of affairs.
