Thanks to all, for kind words NTAP was recommended to me after I started my new position October 98. NTAP full-fills our need for multi-protocol network storage on a single unit (e.g. NT and UNIX). It is not yet 24 by 7 availability but NTAP does not claim to be. I think they claim 99.96% availability? I will evaluate NTAP for mission critical Oracle databases in 2000. This does not preclude me from looking at EMC or IBM or others . If one looks at my profile u will see I also own EMC. I feel storage area is Biiiiig and exploding. There is room for several vendors to do extremely well. I bought stock after we purchased box. I am impressed with sales and support staff. To thread. I joined SI 2 months ago. Have been looking at thread for almost a year. I felt need to jump in yesterday since I have been following the content delivery stocks AKAM/ISLD/XLA. Good Luck to all on being Long on a great company.
