considering that CMTO submitted their 5 DOCSIS candidates in October,
it sure seems like Prodan stuck around long enough to get a good look
at the specs before leaving. in past certification rounds, CMTO
may not have wanted to expose enough of their proprietary architecture
to gain Cablelab's certification. this time it appears that they're trying
to do whatever is necessary to finally pass DOCSIS, which would mean that
all detailed design specifications are open season for eyes within cablelabs.

good thing CMTO has a non-disclosure agreement with cablelab's personnel
to protect from the dissemination of their intellectual property to competitors......
