I know exactly what you mean there.
The same goes for our LIST, many times, for one reason or another, usually because I'm all tied up elsewhere, I can't get into all of them. But it's still fun scanning the news and finding ones with good impact dates. Then it's even more fun when people come back, and tell you how well they did.
Another thing we do a lot of is simply trying to teach, and help people, with links, info etc.
Today was a perfect example, I spent most of my time looking things up for others, and had no to time to play, but that's how I learn too.
Well Jim, I guess I am not the only one then....
That is what Club Fatt! has been about since day 1. Having fun and helping, but making a little money on the side..But mainly learning...For myself and others...
I will probably lose crediblity for saying this, but I would say that I have only been in about 20% of the stocks picked by ME.
I get more excitment out of people telling me "Hey thanks Matt, I can put my son through college now" or anything they come back and say to me....
This is why I capped the list...I wanted it to be a tight ring of people that wanted to have fun with investing aand not get caught up in what Wall Street can be....
Sure, I've missed out on tons of possible money, but I have had that inner excitemtn and zest along the way.....
I have already figured out, by reading the Bible, that everything does not revolve around money. So see, I can be happy with just helping others make money....
Sure, I have lost my butt with others and I've made a killing before....
But, I do not always play..because I either don't have the funds or they are tied up in something...
But I am liquid now...(for real!)
I hope that nobody calls me a liar for this...since I am not always in...But, those live trades you see...that I make..Either way, I am putting my butt on the line...and my name...and many times, my money....
I guess I will see the reaction...good or bad :-)
