I will vouch for Jules.

We have communicated via telephone and U.S. Mail.

He is who he says he is.

Of course, maybe I'm a fraud and I'm lying.

so what if he is who he says he is. what does it matter? because he has a brilliant career and a bunch of professional credentials. doesn't mean anything. i used to waste my time amassing professional credentials. we all know it doesn't mean you know the world better than anyone else.

i used to trade on the options floor with 21 year old kids who never went to college but who knew/know far more about markets than 99% of the people on these boards, including the ones on these boards with PhDs and highly respected names in their businesses. mainly what i find on these boards is non-market credentials are used as an excuse to speak with authority on subjects about which people dont know squat.

i've never seen so much hot air in my entire life as on these boards.
people come up with propositions which perhaps to them sound reasonable and then without a shred of evidence (one way or another) proceed to state these propositions as it "they know". bs. total utter bs.

they come up with elaborate reasonings to support their propositions. all based on supposition. perhaps logical supposition, but supposition nonetheless. markets may be ultimately logical but creating your own personal logical construct of how you think things should be sure isnt the way to make money in them. . this isnt computer science: one cant just design from scratch whatever way one likes.

i'll take the advice of a 21 year old clerk on the floor running errands before i take the advice of 99% of the people on this forum when it comes to markets and stock picking.

it's an insiders game and most on these boards arent on the inside so they're just guessing. and they can't stand facing up to that fact.

i went to a biotech forum last month. talked with a bunch of brilliant bioscience phds who liked to play the market. they didnt have a clue. throwing their money down the toilet. all they concentrated on was how good the science was of the various companies they liked.

so many people on these boards got used to being "the authority" over the years because of the credentials they hold in their careers that they cant stand the fact that when it comes to markets they dont have a clue.
