In order to get ANY editing to Tracker to hang around, you do the editing, close Tracker, and then reopen it. I think I edited recently without closing and reopening, and the editing did not stick. You can also edit alert under "Alert" on the top of Tracker where you will also find the Alert On & Off Switch. You will hear a bing when you hit an alert.

Once you get the alert programed it will bing whenever it reaches that level.

And another thing, if you eliminate a stock from Tracker and replace it with another one, the previous Alerts tend to stick around even if you close the Tracker then reopen.
