Rande:

You make alot of excellent points. Perhaps one problem is that it often gets confusing as to which of your picks are for the long term, and which are the swing trades. For instance, let's say someone told you as of today they owned no stocks, but had 20,000 to invest. Well, of all of the thread's picks, which ones are meant to be held through 2000? Which are meant to be sold at the next spike? Which are meant to be held for 3 days until the "January effect" ends? Which picks are up so high now that it no longer makes sense to buy them at their current level? Perhaps some of us (myself obviously included) could use a brief refresher on where we are now, and where the market is headed. Not only over the next week, but over the next year and beyond as well.
As one quick example. Take OMX, a great pick. Is it time to sell? Sell 1/2 position? Sell nothing because in 3 months it will be at 20? I know that no one can predict the future, but a little guidance would be much appreciated.

thanks!
