John, your argument about hot air is only half-right. There are a lot of people who do indeed spout b.s. here. A very few people do use reason and give facts to support their theories. This is an unmoderated forum, so the words caveat emptor definitely apply.
Personally, I read these boards for amusement and not enlightenment. If, however, somebody posts something intelligent, I'll read it and make up my own mind. Hence, I usually listen to Jules, Paul, Frank Morris, Ibexx, and a few others. Even so, I don't base my investment decisions on BBS postings. I always verify assertions independently.
BTW, if you are so disgusted with the bad advice on here, why do you waste your time here?
