I would guess that, since they have a contractual obligation to force MS Suite on every customer, there was nothing more to say. Could it be that there is little demand for Corel Suite? You can buy a Gateway PC with only Windows. If MSFT is not forcing GTW to bundle Office with Windows, your claim of a contractual obligation would not make sense. Could it be fear of Microsoft--i doubt it. Gateway was not afraid to make a deal with AOL.
