<Incidentally, I'm too tired to respond to SteveG's post. I sent him half my archives about 2 months ago and judging by his comments, he hasn't read a word. There comes a time you have to concede someone's shorting and just let it ride>
Pat, I am dissappointed-
In my apologies to you, I hope I haven't overestimated your earnestness here.
Yes, you have very generously sent me some material, all of which I have in fact read, and could post here, if necessary. Unfortunately none of which answers my post's questions.
Thomas Calvert did offer a response, which I am glad to be able to consider. As I said, I was in the stock once, lost a bit, am interested in the technology, and am open to getting back in. Though this time, I will dig deeper as evidenced by voicing my questions and concerns here. My recent suggestion that you were financially sponsored by AMTX to attend a conference, prompted your understandably emphatic and indignant denial. I retracted my statement and apologized for my suggestion. You suggested at the time that the motivation for my post was that I was short the stock and was trying to manipulate the market (purportedly by calling into question on SI the exact nature of your relationship with Amati. And while I am aware and respectful of your high visibility on this forum, I offered that I doubted that either news or speculation concerning you could effect the stock's price). I had in my apology clarified that I am not, nor have I ever been short the stock. Yet you continue to suggest that I am short, in effect, calling me a liar, and worse, suggesting that my questions are meant to mislead. Or do I misunderstand?
So perhaps we are now more than even *.... we have both now questioned each others full and honest disclosure here. (*with the exception of my apologies to you and everyone on the board for my unprovable suggestion)
I fully admitted to finding that I was completely mistaken about my ability to substantiate my suggestions about your relationship with Amati. But I am neither a liar nor a conniver. If my current questions can be satisfactorily answered, I look forward to it. If not, Amati may still be a fine company to own.
If the price goes down, and some bulls *know* the REAL value, what an opportunity anyone who sells their stock then presents! Regards- Steve |
