Thx QwikSand....I was envisioning something like what you described but didn't know if it existed or how koscher it was. Howards idea of a separate new adapter sounds safe but it would finish off my PCI slots. It does sound a little weird to have devices at each end of the scsi chain with the adapter in the middle though.

Ah decisions decisions...I take it when you did it you did not have termination problems after disabling the internal devices termination and enabling the ext termination... I think that was the reason Howard suggests the other route.
