Even granting that the Times article may have been less than balanced, it's obvious that Jill Barad's decisions have been horrible and her ongoing management even worse. An autocratic, dictatorial leader is one thing, but to combine it with a lack of attention to the details of the business is a recipe for disaster.

Only one correction to your post - General Mills never owned Fisher Price, Quaker Oats did.
