I have Comcast@Home cable service. For downloading anything, cable just can't be beat. Even though it's shared, there are still so few subscribers there has been no impact. Installation was free, cable modem rents for $2.95/mo and monthly charge for ISP/cable service is $39/mo. No need for additional phone line (except for kids, faxes, etc.), so if you're looking to economize, it's the way to go. But if you're like me, you'll end up keeping the additional phone service anyway.
