4Front Technologies, Inc. and Vignette Enter Consulting Partnership Agreement

- Partnership Extends 4Front's E-Commerce Relationship with Vignette -

LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 9, 1999-- 4Front Technologies, Inc. (''4Front'' or the ''Company'') (Nasdaq NM/EASDAQ Symbol: FFTI) today announced that it has signed a Consulting Partnership Agreement with Vignette Europe, the European division of Vignette Corporation, a leading US-based e-commerce software and services company.

Under the agreement, 4Front will provide consultancy services around Vignette's product set to enable its customers to develop online business models and implement e-commerce strategies.

In June, 4Front's training and education services arm entered into a European training partnership with Vignette. This Consulting Partnership Agreement extends 4Front's relationship with Vignette. Under this new agreement, 4Front will work with Vignette throughout Europe to rollout its product set, initially by targeting 4Front's substantial pan-European corporate customer base.

Anil Doshi, Chairman and CEO of 4Front, said, ''This new agreement reflects our concerted effort to move further up the IT services value chain, which we aim in part to achieve by growing our software consultancy business. Over the past few months, 4Front has strengthened the management of its software consultancy arm and has considerably extended its consultancy resources, particularly in the area of e-commerce.''

Mr. Doshi continued, ''We believe that the European market for e-commerce services will grow significantly in 2000 and we are positioning 4Front for meaningful participation in this market. In this first major step in the development of our e-commerce capability we are seeking to align 4Front with proven industry leaders and Vignette is clearly such a company. We have already built a good working relationship with Vignette through our training partnership and look forward to developing our relationship further in this exciting business area.''
