(ICGE) American Mobile and United Messaging Announce Wireless Email
Reseller Agreement
RESTON, Va., Nov 9, 1999 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- American Mobile Satellite
Corporation (NASDAQ: SKYC) and United Messaging, Inc., today announced
a reseller agreement which allows United Messaging to sell American
Mobile's eLink(SM) wireless email services.
The wireless services are provided to United Messaging customers with
totally seamless network connectivity between the two companies

Through eLink's Agent(SM) gateway, United Messaging clients can use
their email address and access information in the palm of their hands,
using the Research In Motion (RIM) 850
Wireless Handheld device. Additionally, the RIM 850 offers Personal
Information Manager (PIM) functionality, including address book,
calendar and task list that can be synchronized with such popular
desktop office applications as Microsoft Outlook and Schedule(plus),
Lotus Organizer and ACT. The handheld device offers a serial port and
docking cradle, as well as synchronization software that allows for
eLink PIM information to be integrated with desktop PIM data. The email
messages will continue to be managed through United Messaging's secure,
fault-tolerant global email network.
